Greenhouse Studio is more than jewelry, home goods, and art. Based in Oxford, Connecticut, it is a passion project of CEO Dez Idalis. At just 13 years old and with the help of Nana Diana, she began what started out as De La Luna Creations.

From a beaded jewelry hobby into a macabre dream, this project transformed along with its founder. With art inspired by the Gothic Victorian era, the Renaissance, Mysticism, and traditional tattooing, comes jewelry, candles, prints, and other unique goods that intertwine with these dark themes. It was then, like a phoenix from ashes, De La Luna became Mito Sagrado.

Though Mito Sagrado felt right in the moment, Dez could sense there was more to be done. She turned inward, using her inner conscious as guidance. It was through this, that the light began to break though the darkness in life.

With new found love and confidence, and the help of her husband, Collin, Greenhouse Studios came to its current form. Still with inspiration from the goth, the light and beauty of the world also shines through. It is the idea of growth after change, the message of the Death in tarot, is the driving force behind our current collection.

In 2020, Dez completed her apprenticeship in tattooing and became licensed in her craft. Themes of her pieces mirror that of her portfolio, with heavily influence of American/Neo-traditional tattooing present in her linework.

All works featured in our shop are handmade by Dez and Collin, with help pinning by Victoria Stanko. All products are made with ethically sourced goods, so you can be assured all your trinkets and pieces are sustainable.
